The purpose of this test is to verify the ability of the fans to withstand the steady-state inertial load caused by acceleration, deceleration and maneuver of the platform in the use environment, and that its performance will not be reduced during and after the action of these loads, and the equipment will not be dangerous after bearing the inertial overload of falling collision. This test is applicable to the equipment installed on aircraft, helicopter, manned spacecraft, aircraft external stores and ground launched missiles. After testing, Perseus aerospace grade DC centrifugal fans fully meet that standard of acceleration test and will function normally under such state.
